Safari, the default web browser for Apple devices, includes a feature called Reading Mode that makes it easier to read content on websites that are full of ads and have irregular designs. This is accomplished by removing distracting elements found on many web pages and displaying the main content in a clear way.
If you regularly browse certain websites in Safari on a Mac, you can automatically activate Reading Mode when opening those websites, and you won't have to manually activate it on every page you navigate to within the same website.
How to activate automatic reading mode in Safari on Mac computers:
To enable reading mode for a specific website on Mac computers, make sure you are using the latest version of Safari, then follow these steps:
1- Open the Safari browser, then go to the site where you want to automatically activate reading mode when you visit it every time.
2- Click on the Safari button shown on the left side of the menu bar, then click on the (Settings) option.
3- On the settings page, click on the "Websites" tab, then click on the "Reader" option in the toolbar on the left side of the page.
4- A list will appear containing all the currently open websites in the browser. Next to each site, you will find a button to turn on or off the automatic reading mode.
5-Go through your list of websites and activate the automatic reading mode on all the websites you want. However, it's important to note that this list only shows the websites that are currently open in your browser. This means that you must open all the websites you frequently visit and want to activate the reading mode on automatically, and then navigate to the settings page.
What will the website look like after activating the reading mode?
When you activate the reading mode on any website in Safari, all advertisements and other elements will disappear except for the main content of the page, which includes text, images, and links.
Web pages will appear simple and free of distracting elements in this mode, making it easier to read text. And if you need to print those pages, no unrelated images or unnecessary elements will appear.
